Join me on a walk through the darker side of Victorian entertainment – Half Penny Dreadfuls (cheap sensational fiction – featuring lust, murder, romance and more), dark performances, cabinets of curiosities and of course, me lovingly hand-crafted Penny Dreadful Poppets™!

As for meself, I was a widow and owned and operated a pie shop in The Strand (London, UK) but due to slanderous rumours by me competitor, Mrs. Lovett (something about “poppin’ pussy cats in pies”) me shop was unfortunately forced to close by the authorities. After closing up shop I moved to Dublin (in lovely Ireland) and opened a small boarding house. During this time I met – and married – a somewhat roguish Irishman named Michael Furey; shortly afterward we decided on a new start – boarded a ship and sailed for Canada… making Hamilton our home. We also like to travel and make our second home in the lovely historic city of New Orleans!
