Join us for a stroll in beautiful downtown Bridgeburg! Now a quaint little corner of Fort Erie, this town has existed since 1873 and is enjoying a second renaissance as new businesses open in old buildings. No matter how quiet it seems, it’s a very busy town…just ask the spirits!

  • A community of 10,000 souls…right under your feet.
  • Home to Soldiers, Smugglers, Privateers – and newly free people on the “Underground Railway”
  • Where Sports meets Spirits
  • Medicines or mad scientists? Some ‘snake oil’ treatments were truly shocking!
  • Ever seen a Christmas bulb explode? How about a few thousand all at once?
  • A prominent stop for major railways – connecting to “Iron Island”.

Anyone without a mask will not be permitted to join the tour; no refund issued.
Social distance when possible.
Contact tracing in effect.

Tour is 18+ and runs from 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm; please arrive a few minutes early so everyone joins the walk together.
We meet in front of the Post Office at 55 Jarvis St., parking on the street is free!  DIRECTIONS
(The tour ends at the bottom of Jarvis St., so you could also park in the “Bridgeburg Station” lot by the river)

All reservations – $15 must be pre-paid no less than 24 hrs. in advance, +18 yrs. only please. We accept INTERAC eTransfer, PayPal & major credit cards.
No walk-ups at this time. Refunds are discretionary.

Minimum 4 persons, maximum 10 for a tour (bookings of less than 4 may be cancelled, with an option to rebook on the next tour).
In the unlikely event a tour is cancelled/rescheduled, a notice will be posted on the site and we will do our best to contact you via email.

There are no physical tickets, though online payments will generate a digital receipt. Refunds are discretionary and only if a tour is cancelled.

While the pace of the walk is casual, we do recommend comfortable and stable footwear! Tours last approximately 90 minutes and are generally considered ‘accessible’ (due to the age of these areas, some may be less than level). We are by the water while the sun goes down, so consider the weather (a light jacket or sweater may be in order).

Tours are seasonal and weather permitting. Cancelled tours may be rescheduled – anyone already booked will be offered an alternate date.
