Antiques, Oddities, Tea & Sweets!

What more could ye wish for on a summer’s day? Well, maybe a parasol to protect ye from sunburn…but I digress.

chadwicks-shoppeNestled near the shores o’ Lake Erie is the quaint little town o’ Ridgeway, Ontario and in that wee town is one o’ the most spectacular buildings to be found – that’s all in one lovely 1890’s Tudor building on the main street! Chadwick’s has a wide variety o’ antiques, a tremendous selection o’ traditional UK sweets (and crisps, jams, treacle, soda…), serves a lovely “High Tea” and is managed by it’s genial proprietors Bernadette, John and Gypsy The Cat. As if that wasn’t enough to tempt & tantalize ye, it’s also the only officially licensed Harry Potter Shoppe between Quebec & BC – hand-turned wooden wands, robes, hats, familiars and a handmade scale model of Diagon Alley & The Leaky Cauldron!

Announcement-CHADWICKSSo…now that ye want to come visit this amazing place, here’s the perfect opportunity to see two brilliant things; the shoppe and us! Yes, Missus Mooney & Michael Furey will be visiting Chadwick’s for the Ridgeway Summer Festival (Sat. July 7 & Sun. July 8, 10am-2pm) for tea, sweets and…a little ogling of yer oddities.

Bring yer oddities, curiosities, collections or other antiques and meet us in the courtyard next to Chadwick’s (between 10am & 2pm) for “Antiques Roadshow Meets The Addams Family” – as we peruse, pontificate and perhaps prognosticate! (our esteemed opinions are strictly for your knowledge & entertainment – we infer no guarantees as to the value o’ your items)
